Team Lead, Production

What you will do

• Supervise production employees and lead operators on an assigned shift.
• Provide teams with information, tools, training, and techniques to perform consistently.
• Monitor production schedules, quality, safety, sanitation, and adherence to SOPs and work instructions.
• Coordinate shift handoffs and communicate production, attendance, quality, and safety information.
• Maintain production administration in SAP, including short-batch processing, inventory deficits, labels, batch records, and production system tasks.
• Support employee performance evaluations, corrective actions, temporary-worker coordination, and new project implementation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work in a production or plant environment and lift up to 55 lbs. (25 kg).
• Regular attendance and compliance with company policies, quality systems, food safety, food defense, and GMP procedures.

Nice to have

• Production department experience.
• SAP experience.
• Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
