What you will do
- Direct plant operations by planning work, assigning personnel, and executing production schedules and shift targets.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop employees across multiple production areas.
- Monitor production workflows, equipment, resources, control points, performance metrics, and reporting systems.
- Resolve process-control issues and production disruptions while implementing cost reduction and process improvements.
- Maintain product quality and food safety systems in compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and related requirements.
- Coordinate equipment repairs, maintenance activities, operational investigations, and workplace safety initiatives.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of food manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, production equipment, ingredient functionality, processing times, and temperature controls.
- Working knowledge of BRC, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety programs.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, supply chain and production technologies, and mechanical operations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills; ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
