TL;DR
Senior Medical Science Liaison (Neuroimmunology): Providing objective scientific education to healthcare professionals and opinion leaders while managing a Pacific Northwest territory with an accent on neuroimmunology, stakeholder engagement, and compliant medical affairs. Focus on building KOL relationships, developing territory strategies, supporting research, and conducting frequent travel across the assigned geography.

Location: United States territory covering Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Alaska, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. The role requires approximately 60% travel, including overnight and weekend travel as needed.

Base pay: $137,000–$235,750 annually. Bay Area range: $157,000–$271,400 annually.

What you will do

  • Provide fair, balanced, objective scientific information and education to opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and internal partners.
  • Build and manage relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, institutions, and community practices.
  • Develop and maintain strategic territory plans and coordinate educational activities.
  • Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research.
  • Collaborate compliantly with field-based partners to support healthcare providers and improve patient care.
  • Maintain current knowledge of neuroimmunology, treatment trends, products, and therapeutic-area developments.

Requirements

  • PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, or PA degree.
  • At least 2 years of relevant neurology, immunology, or neuromuscular experience.
  • 2–4 years of MSL experience, or 2–3 years of relevant clinical, research, or pharmaceutical experience.
  • Strong scientific acumen, communication, presentation, stakeholder-engagement, and territory-planning skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 60% throughout the assigned United States geography, including overnight and weekend travel as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and compliance with applicable regulatory and healthcare guidelines.
