Senior Medical Science Liaison (Nephrology)

Location: Remote, supporting a territory covering Southern California and Hawaii; preferred living location is a key city in the territory. Business travel by air or car may reach 70%.

Salary: $169,222–$253,000 annually, plus incentive opportunity.

What you will do

• Contribute clinical and scientific expertise to local ecosystem strategic plans and field execution.
• Build relationships with key influencers, local practice leaders, healthcare providers, decision makers, and patient advocacy organizations.
• Provide evidence-based clinical, scientific, health economic, and humanistic information on nephrology, immunology, and approved hirify.global products.
• Deliver disease-state and healthcare landscape education, train promotional and disease-state speakers, and support speaker bureau activities.
• Collect medical insights and support clinical trials, investigator-sponsored trials, health economic outcomes research, and medical collaborations.
• Partner with Field Medical Affairs, Safety and Pharmacovigilance, Sales Training, and other matrix functions while mentoring colleagues and new hires.

Requirements

• MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD in life sciences.
• At least 5 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs experience.
• Previous MSL or Medical Affairs experience supporting nephrology programs; experience in immune-mediated kidney disease is preferred.
• Deep understanding of healthcare systems, patient care delivery, and collaboration with healthcare professionals and decision makers.
• Strong communication, collaboration, conflict-resolution, presentation, strategic leadership, and project-team skills.
• Understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, with willingness to work in an evolving environment.

• Experience with immune-mediated kidney disease.
• Living in a key city within the Southern California or Hawaii territory.
