Specialist Procurement

What you will do

• Develop and execute procurement strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Manage direct and indirect categories and supplier relationships, including regional and global suppliers.
• Lead sourcing initiatives such as RFI, RFQ, and supplier negotiations using digital sourcing tools.
• Prepare and negotiate supplier contracts while addressing legal, compliance, and commercial requirements.
• Use market knowledge, data analysis, and total cost of ownership principles to drive savings and continuous improvement.
• Support stakeholder partnerships, cross-functional projects, supplier development, and ESG goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, supply chain, procurement, engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in direct procurement or relevant pharmaceutical experience in quality, engineering, supply chain, or finance.
• Experience with contracting and an understanding of legal, compliance, and commercial considerations.
• Strong communication, influencing, negotiation, supplier management, analytical, and project management skills.
• Fluent English required; fluent Dutch strongly preferred.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and work proactively in a dynamic, high-speed environment.

Nice to have

• MBA, master's degree, or another advanced degree or certification.
