Collaborating Physician Contractor-Mississippi

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must physically reside and practice in Mississippi. Potential travel for quarterly in-person meetings is required.

What you will do

• Supervise Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) to meet Mississippi physician-supervision requirements.
• Participate in required monthly meetings and quarterly in-person meetings with nurse practitioners.
• Review charts supplied by Devoted Medical and ensure clinical supervision follows evidence-based guidelines.
• Attend Mississippi Board of Medicine meetings or submit requests supporting proposed collaborative relationships with Mississippi-licensed APRNs.
• Maintain an active Mississippi medical license and an active medical practice in the state.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Mississippi medical license.
• Physical residence and medical practice in Mississippi.
• Active practice in primary care, internal medicine, or hospitalist medicine.
• Availability for monthly meetings, quarterly in-person meetings, and potential related travel.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
