Commercial Lines Account Executive (Insurance)

What you will do

• Manage relationships for a large and complex commercial insurance book of business and provide consistent client service.
• Coordinate with Sales Executives on risk management, renewal strategies, loss control, and client account requirements.
• Review coverage, identify gaps, analyze carrier quotations, prepare submissions and client proposals, and issue non-standard certificates.
• Coordinate claim reviews, workers’ compensation panels, safety committees, and outstanding loss-control activities.
• Maintain accurate account data, workflows, suspense items, and workload priorities, including assignments to Account Technicians.
• Lead special projects and coach or mentor colleagues.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of job-related experience in commercial lines coverage and underwriting.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License in Pennsylvania required.
• Technical knowledge of insurance coverage forms, risk alternatives, contracts, claims, and loss control.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, interpersonal, customer service, and project management skills.
• Working knowledge of job-related software, including basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and intermediate Microsoft Excel.
