Presales Consultant

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia; willingness to travel for customer engagements is required, and travel may exceed 25%.

What you will do

• Partner with sales to lead discovery conversations and identify customer challenges, priorities, and success measures.
• Design end-to-end solution approaches aligned with customer business needs.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations that communicate value and differentiation.
• Collaborate with Product, Services, and Implementation teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment.
• Contribute to deal strategy by identifying risks, assumptions, and next steps.
• Support proposal responses and sales-to-services transitions.

Requirements

• Experience supporting complex sales cycles in presales, solution consulting, or a consultative customer-facing role.
• Experience presenting solutions to audiences including senior business leaders.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear, practical solution designs.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with workforce management, human resources, payroll, or related enterprise software.
• Experience partnering with sales teams in a quota-carrying environment.
• Experience facilitating discovery sessions, workshops, and executive-level discussions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
