Sr Manager/Director, Digital Solutions

Location: Hybrid, with work from home and on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices. Available locations include South San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Evanston, New York, Thousand Oaks, Philadelphia, Princeton, San Diego, and Bethesda, United States.

Salary: $215,000–$227,500 per year

What you will do

• Advise life sciences clients while leading business development, solution shaping, and delivery.
• Own end-to-end custom application programs across web, mobile, and digital products, combining content, cloud, data, and AI layers.
• Define application, technical, component, integration, and data architectures aligned with client and hirify.global standards.
• Lead technical design for cloud-native and microservices-based solutions, including technology stacks, interfaces, and deployment topologies.
• Govern design patterns, coding standards, reusable components, and non-functional requirements covering performance, scalability, security, availability, observability, and compliance.
• Lead estimation, delivery planning, cloud and DevSecOps execution, multidisciplinary team development, and practice-building initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, digital product development, or agile application delivery.
• Enterprise experience leading custom web, mobile, or SaaS application development, ideally in life sciences.
• Deep expertise in application and technical architecture, multi-tier web systems, microservices, APIs, integration patterns, technical designs, and architecture documentation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including PaaS, containers, serverless, and security or identity services.
• Fluency in English and availability for a hybrid work model with client-facing travel are required.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating data platforms, event streaming, ERP, CRM, clinical, or commercial systems through APIs and iPaaS.
• Exposure to AI-enabled or GenAI-augmented applications, LLM features, conversational interfaces, and intelligent workflows.
• Advanced degree or MBA and experience in life sciences consulting.
