Expected annual salary: USD 156,998.40–212,409.60.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain scientific relationships with medical thought leaders, clinicians, academic institutions, medical directors, and pharmacy directors.
  • Communicate scientific, medical, health economic, and product information in accordance with compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Gather customer feedback, identify unmet needs, and connect external stakeholders with relevant internal resources.
  • Identify potential speakers and train them on scientific content for sponsored external speaker programs.
  • Participate in regional and national conferences to support medical strategy, track clinical trends, and maintain investigator relationships.
  • Evaluate and facilitate external investigator-initiated and company-sponsored clinical research collaborations while monitoring competitive developments.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree, or a master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
  • Scientific or medical affairs experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company is preferred.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a changing environment and integrate and communicate scientific information.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%; workdays of up to 15 hours may be required due to travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new business applications across PC and iPad hardware.

Nice to have

  • Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
  • Two years of scientific or medical affairs experience at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
