Sr. Medical Science Liaison (Immunology/Dermatology)

Location: Boston Metro territory, with listed locations in Boston, Cambridge, Rhode Island, and Worcester, United States; supports up to 70% travel within the territory and to meetings, congresses, and related events.

Salary: $137,000–$235,750 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and implement a territory scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and medical objectives.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and academic and community provider teams.
• Conduct balanced, non-promotional scientific exchanges and tailor clinical data presentations to stakeholder needs.
• Identify treatment trends, unmet needs, risks, opportunities, and educational gaps, then generate actionable insights for medical strategy and asset planning.
• Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies, research inquiries, and connections with internal research and grant processes.
• Collaborate with MSL partners, R&D, US and Global Medical Affairs, clinical operations, and other defined internal stakeholders while maintaining compliance.

Requirements

• Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience, such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or an advanced practice provider qualification.
• Postgraduate experience for doctoral-level candidates and at least 2 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated success as an MSL.
• Strong scientific and therapeutic expertise in research, data analysis, clinical practice, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to support the Boston Metro territory with up to 70% travel.
• Valid US driver’s license preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, computers, and remote technologies.
