Director, Product Strategy, APAC (Asset Management)

Location: Central Singapore, Singapore; employees work from the office 4 days per week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day per week

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end development of new investment products and vehicles from concept through launch and commercialization.
• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration across Legal, Compliance, Tax, Operations, Investments, and Distribution.
• Lead complex strategic projects for senior leaders and contribute to enterprise strategy processes.
• Prepare and present product proposals to the Operating Committee and senior leadership, including strategic rationale, financial impact, risks, and implementation plans.
• Develop financial models and business cases to assess product viability, projected flows, margins, and resource implications.
• Partner with wealth sales, product teams, clients, distribution partners, and wealth technology platforms to identify commercial opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in asset management.
• Direct experience in product strategy, product development, client engagement, and wealth solutions.
• Successful end-to-end product development experience, including launching investment vehicles in APAC.
• Experience preparing materials for executive governance forums, including financial modeling and commercial analysis.
• Ability to influence and advise senior leaders using data and research, make consensus-based decisions, and drive outcomes in complex environments.
• Broad knowledge of industry dynamics, investment products, vehicles, regulatory trends, and multiple asset classes, including Alternatives.
