TL;DR
Director, Innovation, Asia Pacific (Fintech): Building and advancing new product opportunities across payments, commerce, and emerging technology from problem definition through prototypes, validation, pilots, and scale with an accent on 0-1 product development, innovation sprints, and commercially relevant concepts. Focus on translating client needs and market shifts into product narratives, pilot plans, and business outcomes while aligning senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Location: Singapore; at least 3 days in the office are required

What you will do
- Lead 0-1 product innovation initiatives from problem definition through concept, prototype, validation, pilot, and handoff.
- Run focused innovation sprints with defined outputs, owners, timelines, and decision points.
- Work with Product, Design, Technology, Strategy, Partnerships, and regional market teams to shape and test opportunities.
- Translate client needs, market shifts, and emerging technologies into commercially relevant product concepts.
- Create product narratives, pitch materials, demo flows, and pilot plans for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support senior stakeholder discussions and contribute to Asia Pacific thought leadership materials.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in product innovation, venture building, corporate innovation, strategy, fintech, payments, digital commerce, or technology-led growth.
- Proven 0-1 experience building, launching, or scaling products, propositions, ventures, or business models.
- Experience with innovation sprints, discovery, prototyping, MVP development, validation, pilots, and stage-gate decisions.
- Experience in a startup, scale-up, venture studio, corporate venture builder, or product development environment.
- Strong commercial judgment, problem-solving skills, product storytelling ability, and comfort working with ambiguity.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leaders, product teams, designers, engineers, market teams, and external partners.
Nice to have
- Experience or demonstrated interest in payments, fintech, platforms, AI, digital commerce, wallets, data, or emerging technologies.
- Specific interest in agentic commerce and stablecoins.
