Principal, Planning Process (SaaS)

Location: United States

Salary: $129,500–$186,100 per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Design and manage the end-to-end enterprise planning process, including governance, milestones, and decision points.
• Translate enterprise priorities into planning frameworks, templates, decision criteria, and analytical requirements.
• Analyze functional and product plans to identify dependencies, gaps, risks, and investment trade-offs.
• Create executive-ready presentations and recommendations that synthesize complex planning inputs.
• Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions, document decisions, and track deliverables.
• Improve planning processes, workflow tools, and performance measures through stakeholder feedback and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in enterprise strategy, enterprise planning, business operations, or strategic finance within a SaaS company.
• Experience leading complex enterprise-wide planning cycles across multiple functions or business units.
• Experience connecting long-range planning, annual planning, portfolio prioritization, and in-year performance management.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical rigor, executive presence, and influence in a matrixed organization.
• Experience with scenario modeling, trade-off analysis, executive communications, Excel modeling, and data analytics.
• Experience collaborating with Corporate FP&A and using planning workflow tools.
