VC 17751 Engineer, Plant Maintenance, Operations

What you will do

• Inspect plant assets according to maintenance programs and complete assigned preventive maintenance.
• Install and commission assets and facilities.
• Implement technology-driven improvements to equipment and production processes.
• Participate in customer audits and comply with applicable standards and requirements.
• Maintain spare-parts storage and work areas through 5S programs and implement TPM where required.
• Develop energy-saving projects, manage spare parts, handle hazardous chemicals and waste, and resolve machine problems with lasting solutions.

Requirements

• Technical degree or engineering qualification in electromechanics, electronics, mechatronics, instrumentation, automation, or a related field.
• Expert knowledge of electricity and intermediate knowledge of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of automation.
• Ability to read diagrams and follow quality management procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work in accordance with ISO, IATF 16949, ISO 14000, and ISO 45001 standards.
