Principal, Corporate Strategy

Location: Mountain View, California; hybrid model with 2–3 days per week in the Mountain View office

Base pay: $212,000–$287,000 annually, plus potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Structure projects and develop work plans for high-priority strategic initiatives focused primarily on growth.
• Lead cross-functional strategy and business-unit teams in data-driven research and analysis.
• Develop recommendations and strategic perspectives to support decisions by C-suite executives, the CEO, and the Board of Directors.
• Lead inclusive problem-solving sessions and set the intellectual agenda for the team.
• Prepare and deliver data-backed presentations, plans, and communications to executive and business-unit audiences.
• Coach and mentor junior team members while building relationships with business leaders and monitoring the competitive landscape.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in the strategy function of a respected operating company; an MBA is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams of direct reports on high-profile strategic initiatives.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, interpersonal, influencing, presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills.
• Experience synthesizing complex information into concise recommendations for executive audiences.
• Experience managing senior business stakeholders across challenging cross-functional projects and strong project management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with 2–3 days per week in the Mountain View office.
