Civil Project Engineer Manager (Civil Engineering)

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage construction documents, contracts, project schedules, budgets, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
• Coordinate construction support services, field activities, and constructability reviews.
• Lead civil engineering design studies covering land use, zoning, site constraints, infrastructure, and regulatory issues.
• Prepare and process regulatory plans and public improvement plans for private and public projects.
• Direct, plan, and control design and support staff while supervising technical personnel.
• Build effective relationships with clients, public agencies, and internal teams.

Requirements

• BSCE degree or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• California Professional Civil Engineer registration, or the ability to obtain it within six months.
• Five to ten years of relevant experience, or eight to twelve years of equivalent industry experience.
• At least three years of management experience supervising technical staff.
• Required CAD experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of California and regional jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures is strongly preferred.
