Civil Project Engineer - Municipal Focus

Location: Reno, Nevada, United States

Annual expected pay: $120,000–$200,000 USD. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus subject to the company's program terms.

What you will do

• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents for municipal infrastructure projects.
• Lead construction observation and project management services to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and quality control for project deliverables.
• Lead client interactions throughout design, bidding, contracting, and construction.
• Coordinate with municipal staff and regulatory agencies on permits and local, state, and federal compliance.
• Engage with city councils, public works departments, and other local entities to align engineering solutions with community needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably focused on municipal engineering.
• AutoCAD required.
• Civil 3D preferred.
