Compliance and IT Operations Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Own and maintain SOC 2 compliance while driving HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001 initiatives.
• Automate compliance workflows using AI to ensure continuous audit readiness.
• Design and implement the company's IT foundation, including device management and network troubleshooting.
• Translate complex requirements between engineering, HR, legal, and leadership teams.
• Execute secure employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Provide in-person IT support and hardware troubleshooting for the NYC office.

Requirements

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City for full-time in-office work.
• Strong technical foundation with a computer science background or equivalent experience.
• Genuine fluency with AI tools and a track record of automating manual processes.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in regulated environments with high attention to detail.
• Willingness to work ~60 hours per week in person.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with SOC 2 compliance.
• Hands-on experience with HIPAA, GDPR, or ISO 27001.
• Experience standing up IT or device management systems for growing teams.
