Civil Engineer in Training

What you will do

• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design grading, drainage, utility, and roadway plans and prepare construction documents.
• Perform stormwater calculations and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
• Assist with site retention, storm drainage, conveyance channel, water, and sewer system design.
• Prepare sewer capacity analyses, WaterCAD models, technical drainage reports, and design-basis reports.
• Maintain quality-control checklists in accordance with CAD standards and quality-control manuals.
• Gain qualifying experience toward Professional Engineer licensure through training and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
• Engineer-in-Training designation or the ability to obtain it within six months.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Interest in land development and professional career growth.
