What you will do
- Lead the planning, analysis, design, calculations, and delivery of water resources and stormwater engineering projects.
- Conduct and oversee hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for watersheds, streams, rivers, culverts, bridges, and stormwater systems.
- Prepare flood risk assessments, drainage studies, watershed master plans, flood mitigation strategies, and FEMA floodplain mapping documentation.
- Design stormwater management systems, including detention, retention, conveyance, green infrastructure, and low-impact development solutions.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, quality control, client communications, proposals, and agency coordination.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff and support client meetings and field assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in civil engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 4β8 years of experience in water resources engineering, stormwater management, and floodplain management.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HydroCAD and HEC-RAS.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS platforms.
- Strong technical report writing skills and authorization to work in the United States.
