Product Manager Intern (AI)

What you will do

• Develop product strategy for AI infrastructure, developer tools, and internal operational workflows.
• Interview developers and conduct customer discovery to understand how they build and deploy AI agents.
• Define product specifications, feature requirements, APIs, workflows, and product behavior with engineering.
• Design onboarding, documentation, and developer experience improvements.
• Prioritize product improvements using customer feedback and usage data.
• Define adoption, activation, and retention metrics and help launch platform features from idea to production.

Requirements

• Strong product intuition, user empathy, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly understand complex technical systems and translate ambiguous ideas into concrete plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Organized, detail-oriented, highly proactive, and comfortable working with engineers.
• High agency, independent ownership, and strong product judgment.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco for a paid, full-time internship of approximately three months.

Nice to have

• Previous startup, product, founder, hackathon, side-project, or entrepreneurial experience.
• Experience building or shipping products end-to-end.
• Familiarity with developer tools, AI products, cloud infrastructure, Figma, Linear, Notion, or similar product tooling.
• Experience with user interviews, customer research, product metrics, or a technical background in computer science or engineering.
