TL;DR
Data Analyst - Mid (SQL/Python/Power BI): Developing dashboards, reports, visualizations, and data analytics solutions for mission-focused government programs in secure environments with an accent on data analysis, reporting, and relational data systems. Focus on building actionable intelligence applications, designing large relational databases, integrating data systems, and optimizing warehouse performance.
Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Active Top Secret security clearance required.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Extract, transform, query, and analyze relational data using SQL and Python/R statistical scripting.
- Gather, define, and document data analysis requirements with technical and functional teams.
- Create data dictionaries, analytical procedures, and documentation for data pipelines and warehouses.
- Develop analytics for desktop and web-based visual analytic software, including bulk analysis of structured and semi-structured data.
- Design and construct relational databases, integrate systems with existing warehouse structures, and improve system performance and functionality.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of relevant experience.
- Professional experience with Python, SQL, Power BI dashboards and reporting.
- Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data transformation, and advanced data querying.
- Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams and solve ill-defined technical problems.
