Maintenance Technician

Location: Melbourne, Australia, with cross-site support for other Melbourne facilities and offsite support for satellite sites.

What you will do

• Maintain electrical and mechanical systems to support customer service KPIs.
• Carry out planned, predictive, reactive, and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with the Planner and Operations team to assess the customer impact of breakdowns.
• Keep maintenance records and report variations from the preventive maintenance plan.
• Provide management with options for resolving breakdowns and support other Melbourne and satellite facilities.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician, or qualified Maintenance Fitter and Turner with Disconnect/Reconnect certification.
• Analytical skills and technical expertise.
• Computer competency.
• Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
• Physical strength and flexibility to work in a cold, highly manual, and hypoxic environment down to -23°C.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment.
