Finance Manager (Commercial Real Estate)

Privately owned real estate investment and operating organization with a portfolio of approximately 2,750 multifamily units and 300,000 square feet of commercial real estate across California, Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona.

What you will do

• Manage debt obligations, loan maturities, refinancing opportunities, payoff schedules, and debt reporting.
• Monitor interest rates, capital markets activity, and economic conditions.
• Coordinate with lenders, brokers, and financial institutions and support loan-term negotiations.
• Analyze portfolio performance and recommend financing strategies, including for acquired or foreclosed properties.
• Prepare financial presentations and reports for executive leadership.
• Improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and deadline management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance, debt management, lending, capital markets, or financial analysis.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Understanding of debt markets, interest rates, and commercial lending practices.
• Experience in a family office, private investment firm, owner-operator, or entrepreneurial real estate organization.
• Ability to work independently in a lean environment, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with ownership and executive leadership.
