Athletic Trainer (2nd Shift)

Location: Jackson, Tennessee, United States. Onsite at a workplace health center. Scheduled hours: Tuesday–Friday, 1:00–11:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Develop and implement early intervention programs, including comprehensive musculoskeletal examinations, OSHA-standard first aid, and injury prevention education.
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Lead individual and group training in functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention.
• Coordinate care and workplace countermeasures with onsite medical and safety teams.
• Document assessments, recommendations, outcomes, and patient health records accurately and promptly.
• Participate in meetings and task forces and support other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program.
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer credential.
• Current hands-on Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers through AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider.
• Experience in occupational health and safety; knowledge of current OSHA regulations is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, problem-solving, relationship-building, time-management, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification, depending on the contract scope of services.
• Ergonomic specialty certification.
• Experience in ergonomics.
