Employee Health Nurse - 1st Shift (No Weekends) (Occupational Health)

Location: Skaneateles, New York, United States; on-site, 1st shift, no weekends

Salary: $68,000–$93,500 annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Implement and evaluate the facility-level occupational health program.
• Provide immediate care for employee and visitor illnesses and injuries and coordinate the medical emergency response team.
• Manage health surveillance programs, including hearing conservation, audiometry, respiratory surveillance, and chemical or reproductive hazard exposure management.
• Coordinate case management, workers’ compensation, job placement, and return-to-work processes with healthcare providers, HR, managers, and insurers.
• Lead or support ergonomics, workplace health promotion, risk reduction, drug testing, and employee counseling programs.
• Maintain confidential occupational health records, required OSHA and workers’ compensation reporting, regulatory compliance, and continuing certifications.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a current license to practice; BSN preferred.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification, or willingness to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• Education in industrial ergonomics, or willingness to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification.
