Associate Professor/Assistant Professor (Human Nutrition)

What you will do

• Teach undergraduate courses in Human Nutrition and Food.
• Advise undergraduate students and support student organizations.
• Develop collaborative research within and across disciplines in nutrition, dietetics, food science, and food systems management.
• Publish research findings in high-impact refereed journals.
• Seek and secure external grants and contracts as a principal investigator or co-principal investigator.
• Participate in university, community, professional, and student recruitment activities.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in nutrition, food systems, dietetics, or a closely related field.
• At least 1–2 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Recent record of publications in high-impact refereed journals.
• Previous or current external funding experience as PI or Co-PI.
• Extensive experience conducting community-related nutrition research.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, classroom instruction capability, and experience supporting diverse populations in education, research, and practice.
