Associate Engineering Designer

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, US; the role description also references Tucson, Arizona

Salary: $34.00–$41.50 per hour

What you will do

• Develop land development and public works plans from conceptual design through final plans.
• Prepare and process plats and plans for subdivision and land development projects.
• Design roadways, utilities, drainage systems, grading, and earthwork calculations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on projects in the Tucson region.
• Use CADD tools to produce and update engineering documentation.

Requirements

• BSCE degree preferred, with two years of relevant work experience, or six years of equivalent experience.
• Experience in land development and/or public works design is required.
• Ability to prepare subdivision and land development plats and plans.
• Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures in the Tucson area is preferred.
• CADD experience and a good driving record are required.
• Preferred EIT certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
