Blackstone Credit & Insurance – LCS, Restructuring, Senior Associate (Restructuring)

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $140,000–$170,000, plus discretionary bonuses and potential equity or other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Support the Restructuring team within the Liquid Credit business.
• Analyze liability management and balance sheet restructuring alternatives.
• Underwrite and structure new-money investments related to restructuring transactions.
• Work with restructuring advisors and other lenders.
• Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, industry research, and competitive analysis.
• Analyze legal documentation and draft memoranda for internal and external use.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in restructuring, distressed investing, or special situations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Deep understanding of credit markets, particularly restructuring and leveraged finance.
• Strong initiative, sound judgment, creative problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced investment environments.
