Senior Specialist, Employee Relations (Human Resources): Resolving employee and labor relations cases, including conflicts, disputes, investigations, mediations, and disciplinary matters, with an accent on fair and consistent procedures, performance management, and workplace conduct. Focus on designing employee relations protocols, advising senior leaders, supporting collective bargaining, and developing manager training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Salary: $99,100–$166,200 per year

What you will do

  • Resolve employee and labor relations issues, including conflicts, disputes, disciplinary matters, investigations, mediations, hearings, and departures.
  • Design standard operating procedures, protocols, templates, and organization-wide practices for employee, union, and work council relations.
  • Advise leaders and HR teams on performance management, feedback, goal setting, workplace conduct, discrimination complaints, and workforce retrenchment.
  • Participate in collective bargaining negotiations and represent the organization before regulatory bodies, consultants, vendors, and other agencies.
  • Develop manager training programs covering conflict resolution, dispute management, complaints, and performance feedback.
  • Lead employee relations special projects, continuous improvement initiatives, confidential recordkeeping, reporting, and trend analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience.
  • Expertise in employee relations, labor relations, conflict resolution, dispute management, investigations, mediation, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and consult with legal, compliance, HR, and senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
  • Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) certification.
  • Certified Labor Relations Professional (CLRP) certification.
