On-Site Application Engineer - I-Park (Mechanical Engineering)

Location: On-site in Midland, Michigan, United States; weekly customer visits required

What you will do

• Meet or exceed agreed goals for assigned service contracts.
• Coordinate order entry, tracking, scheduling, communication, and other service contract activities.
• Develop and maintain surveys, reference lists, presentations, proposals, and technical guidelines.
• Maintain relevant data and prepare reports for the Manager of Business Development.
• Build customer satisfaction while managing responsibilities efficiently and safeguarding corporate assets.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• At least one year of experience in an engineering role, such as maintenance, reliability, or application engineering.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, customer-focused, and able to work closely with customers.
• Solid systems knowledge and analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work on-site in Midland, Michigan and visit customers weekly.
• Proficiency with PC systems and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Access.
• Experience with rotating equipment.
