TL;DR
Bilingual Technical Service Engineer (High-Tech Equipment): Installing, commissioning, testing, maintaining, and repairing equipment while providing onsite and remote technical support to customers, suppliers, and internal teams with an accent on hands-on troubleshooting, technical documentation, and customer communication. Focus on diagnosing system issues from technical drawings and test data, conducting root cause analysis, coordinating corrective actions, and supporting equipment performance in manufacturing, cleanroom, laboratory, and customer-site environments.
Location: Onsite in Phoenix, Arizona, with local travel to customer sites as needed

What you will do
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Support equipment installation, setup, commissioning, startup, testing, and functional verification.
- Perform troubleshooting, inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs using technical drawings, manuals, specifications, test data, and field observations.
- Conduct root cause analysis, coordinate corrective actions, and communicate technical findings and recommended solutions.
- Prepare service reports, troubleshooting summaries, issue logs, and technical documentation.
- Support customer training, equipment handover, product evaluations, and coordination with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, suppliers, and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on troubleshooting ability, analytical skills, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, specifications, and product documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong written and verbal English and Chinese communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona and travel locally to customer sites.
Nice to have
- Experience in technical service, field engineering, equipment support, commissioning, maintenance, or related roles.
- Experience with semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, industrial equipment, laboratory, or cleanroom environments.
- Experience working with customers, suppliers, equipment manufacturers, or vendors.
- Familiarity with corrective actions, technical reporting, and issue tracking.
