What you will do
- Lead the innovation, development, and application of advanced materials from ideation through market launch.
- Translate customer insights and emerging-market application requirements into actionable product development programs.
- Define product performance targets and work with cross-functional teams on feasibility assessment, agile prototyping, and testing.
- Conduct market intelligence, competitive analysis, and patent landscape research to guide product strategy.
- Support technical marketing through application-based value propositions and early-stage customer engagement.
- Advise leadership on product and process development strategies, strategic planning, and innovation pipeline activities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in application engineering, product development, or technical marketing.
- Strong understanding of specialty alloys, including high-performance stainless steels, superalloys, and titanium, as well as related manufacturing methods.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence technical and strategic discussions.
- Experience collaborating across functions to define product specifications and accelerate development timelines.
- Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and experience contributing to strategic planning.
