Senior Accountant Financial Reporting III

What you will do

• Prepare and review annual and interim financial statements, disclosures, reporting packages, supporting schedules, and account analyses for multiple legal entities.
• Maintain financial reporting documentation, linked data, workflows, reporting calendars, close checklists, and disclosure controls in Workiva.
• Prepare tie-outs, disclosure checklists, fluctuation analyses, and audit schedules, and respond to external auditor requests.
• Research and document accounting and reporting matters under U.S. GAAP, GASB, and other applicable frameworks.
• Support internal controls over financial reporting and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with accounting, consolidation, FP&A, tax, treasury, legal, and operational departments on reporting, audits, system implementations, acquisitions, and other finance initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, including public accounting, corporate accounting, or financial reporting.
• Experience preparing financial statements and supporting external audits.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and advanced Workiva experience are required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or active progress toward CPA certification.
• Public accounting experience with a Big Four or national accounting firm.
• Experience with multi-entity organizations, consolidated financial reporting, ERP systems, consolidation software, GASB, IFRS, statutory reporting, or multinational organizations.
