Senior Manager, Consolidations (Finance)

What you will do

• Lead the enterprise consolidation process, including inter-company and inter-segment eliminations, corporate consolidation accounting, and ownership of the consolidated trial balance.
• Analyze consolidated financial statements and research accounting issues to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage monthly internal financial reporting, management reports, disclosures, and period-end reporting processes.
• Strengthen internal controls, documentation, procedures, and reporting timelines.
• Coordinate with financial reporting executives, business units, IT, internal teams, and external auditors to resolve complex issues.
• Assign work, establish productivity standards, train associates, and support hiring, evaluation, and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Six to ten years of professional accounting experience, including three to six years in a management role, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting concepts, general ledger and consolidation systems, financial statements, and management reporting.
• Experience researching U.S. GAAP issues, reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, and resolving accounting discrepancies.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• SIE certification is required unless an exemption or grandfathering applies; Series 99 may be required depending on the assigned functional area and must be obtained within 120 days when applicable.
