What you will do

• Manage full-cycle accounting close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, trial balances, financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Compile, consolidate, and analyze financial data using established systems and reporting tools.
• Reconcile loan data and prepare monthly and quarterly delinquency reports.
• Calculate and report loan allowances, including preparing quarterly loan allowance memoranda.
• Develop and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls while supporting internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments and IT to resolve issues and improve reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Understanding of full-cycle accounting close processes, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong data analysis, problem-solving, organization, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide technical guidance and training.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• CPA certification is not required.
