Outpatient Addiction Psychiatrist - Tufts Medical Center

Location: Tufts Medical Center in downtown Boston, Massachusetts

Salary: $250,000–$290,000 annually

What you will do

• Provide ambulatory addiction treatment and longitudinal care for patients with complex substance use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
• Help expand Ambulatory Addiction Psychiatry Services.
• Provide consultation and collaborate with Primary Care, transplant services, and other outpatient specialties.
• Participate in teaching, supervision, and curriculum development for medical students, psychiatry residents, and other learners.
• Engage in clinical, translational, and health services research focused on addiction psychiatry, integrated care, and health systems innovation.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Adult Psychiatry Residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Adult Psychiatry.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Fellowship training and/or Board Certification in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine is strongly preferred.
