Outpatient Physician-Primary and Occupational Medicine

Location: Modesto, California, United States. Onsite position at the EJ Gallo Health Center, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM; no call and no weekends.

Salary: $290,000–$310,000 annually.

What you will do

• Provide episodic, preventive, acute, primary, and occupational healthcare to employees and their dependents aged two and older.
• Conduct medical histories, physical examinations, occupational surveillance exams, post-offer physicals, medical monitoring, and return-to-work evaluations.
• Prescribe medications and treatments, develop care plans, educate patients, and provide appropriate referrals.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, identify emergencies, and provide care within the legal scope of practice.
• Maintain medical records and contribute to annual health center goals and health programs.
• Assume overall responsibility for patient care in the absence of the Medical Leader.

Requirements

• Medical degree and current board certification through ABMS, AMA, or AOA.
• State license to practice and a federal DEA license matching each state of practice and oversight.
• Current CPR certification, including hands-on skills evaluation; fully online courses are not accepted.
• At least three years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Primary care and occupational medicine experience in an outpatient, urgent care, or emergency room setting.
