Psychiatrist (Healthcare)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; onsite at a health center

Salary: $291,000–$301,000 annually. Additional $7,500 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Provide psychiatric examinations and care within the client contract and scope of practice.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and document findings, plans, and prognoses in the EMR.
• Initiate, titrate, and manage medications as part of the care team.
• Collaborate with medical providers, behavioral health professionals, and other healthcare specialists.
• Refer patients to specialized resources and support goal-setting, adjustment, and personal, social, educational, and vocational development.

Requirements

• Medical degree and MD or DO qualification.
• Unrestricted psychiatric license in the state providing care, with applicable prescriptive authority and controlled-substance licenses.
• Board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology appropriate to the patient population.
• Federal DEA license matching each applicable state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• At least three years of post-residency clinical experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency medicine.

Nice to have

• CAMS-care certification, which must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
