What you will do

• Teach courses in one or more education specialty areas, including curriculum design, assessment, science methods, social studies methods, English language arts, mathematics education, educational technology, and educational leadership.
• Teach on-campus or online courses according to program needs and available funding.
• Advise, evaluate, and assist students from varied backgrounds.
• Develop and revise curricula and courses.
• Contribute to students’ academic success and the university’s educational mission.

Requirements

• Minimum master’s degree in an appropriate field; a terminal degree is preferred.
• Academic background commensurate with teaching one or more listed specialty areas.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work professionally and effectively with individuals and groups.

Nice to have

• Academic or professional experience.
• Experience teaching interdisciplinary courses.
• Knowledge of college student development.
• Terminal degree in an appropriate field.
