Senior Full Stack Developer (Java)

Location: Hybrid in Mississauga, Canada

Salary: CAD 100,000–120,000 annually

What you will do

• Clarify business, functional, and non-functional requirements for new and modified applications.
• Design and implement applications in a multi-platform, distributed environment.
• Develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain Java-based programs, microservices, and web applications.
• Monitor system performance, deliver updates, and provide production support, data extraction, and technical assistance.
• Prepare technical documentation, operating procedures, and user materials, and provide user training when needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide off-hours support.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of Information Systems experience and experience working with software development teams.
• At least 5 years of experience developing Java and Spring Boot microservices, including RESTful and SOAP web services.
• At least 3 years of experience developing single-page applications with Angular, React, or a similar JavaScript framework.
• Experience with J2EE, JPA, Spring Framework, Maven, relational databases, Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL, Linux or Unix, and Windows.
• Experience with distributed environments, web architectures, microservices, design patterns, UML, and CI/CD automation.
