Commercial Title Officer (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid in Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Salary: $30.90–$41.19 hourly

What you will do

• Perform title searches for commercial transactions ranging from single-site to high-liability, multi-site deals.
• Analyze liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, surveys, ownership records, and legal descriptions.
• Prepare recording packages and complete post-underwriting activities.
• Price commitments, endorsements, policies, and guarantees using applicable fee schedules.
• Review deeds, operating agreements, corporate resolutions, and other transaction documents.
• Coordinate title issue resolution and consult attorneys on matters requiring escalation where applicable.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of commercial title-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Problem-solving, research, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple title-support activities and adapt to new software.
• Knowledge of the MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of Maryland title practices and recording requirements is preferred.
