Reliability Test Engineer (Electronic Components)

Location: Columbus, Nebraska, United States. The position is open only to applicants who qualify as U.S. Persons under ITAR/EAR regulations, including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.

What you will do

• Review, design, and implement test capabilities, including equipment, fixtures, setups, test methods, and test limits.
• Direct product testing according to military, customer, corporate engineering, and quality specifications.
• Identify requirements for electrical, mechanical, environmental, and electronic test equipment and fixtures.
• Maintain and improve calibration, performance monitoring, and objective evidence for controlled testing.
• Improve test methods and capabilities to increase testing efficiency, accuracy, and technical performance.
• Work with internal customers and coordinate with Engineering and Quality Control personnel regarding customer needs.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in electronic component manufacturing or testing.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and capability.
• Broad technical knowledge in chemical, electrical, industrial, programming, or mechanical engineering.
• Related manufacturing, maintenance, or programming experience is also considered.
• Experience with test equipment, data acquisition, computer-controlled test stations, software interfaces, and LAN networking is relevant to the role.
• Eligibility as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations is required.
