Fab Equipment Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: 100% onsite in Palm Bay, Florida, United States

What you will do

• Own assigned diffusion equipment as the subject matter expert.
• Monitor and improve equipment availability, throughput, line yield, and cost of ownership.
• Generate and update equipment maintenance specifications.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment problems and implement corrective solutions.
• Design, test, and implement equipment improvements and modifications.
• Support equipment purchases, installations, relocations, qualifications, parts sourcing, and technician training.

Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent in an appropriate engineering discipline; relevant qualified work experience, training, or military service may substitute.
• At least 5 years of semiconductor experience in equipment engineering with a diffusion background.
• Excellent mechanical and electronic skills.
• Strong problem-solving, project, and communication skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Thermco TMX 9000/10000 or SVG VTR 6000/7000 diffusion equipment.
• Previous experience as an OEM Field Service Engineer.
