hirify.global operates an Equity Arbitrage team focused on trading strategies, quant research, and execution.

What you will do

• Collaborate with traders, quantitative researchers, and senior engineers to build and maintain tools for equity arbitrage strategies.
• Develop data pipelines, trading analytics, and automation tools in Python.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing systems as strategy requirements evolve.
• Contribute to engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and ability to write clean, efficient, maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work from the New York City office and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in Big Tech or financial services.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, Pandas, NumPy, and working with data.
