Quantitative Developer (Python)

Location: New York, United States; on-site support required

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annual base salary, plus eligible discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Improve the existing quantitative research framework.
• Develop new research tools and maintain existing ones.
• Provide close day-to-day support to the quantitative research team.
• Contribute to production Python development within a trading team.
• Work with a geographically distributed engineering and research environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Python knowledge with at least three years of production development experience.
• Experience with C++ development and Bash scripting.
• Experience with NumPy, Pandas, Polars, workflow management, and task scheduling.
• Knowledge of equities and equity derivatives trading.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
