Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States; assigned territory with up to 40% overnight travel locally, regionally, and nationally. The role requires work in hospital laboratory settings, attendance at live patient cases, variable hours, and protective equipment.
Base pay: $83,000–$133,400 per year, plus eligibility for the company’s long-term incentive program.

What you will do
- Provide clinical and technical support and training for AcuNav and SOUNDSTAR catheters during electrophysiology and interventional cardiology procedures.
- Support physicians and EP laboratory staff in using CARTO systems, CARTOSOUND, CARTOMERGE, Stockert RF generators, and related catheter equipment.
- Educate customers on electrophysiology products, clinical best practices, instructions for use, and technical troubleshooting.
- Identify sales opportunities through consultative selling and facilitate engagement with key decision-makers.
- Plan and schedule case support while coordinating with territory managers, EP clinical specialists, field service engineers, marketing, and regional leadership.
- Build customer relationships, share field best practices, mentor new commercial team members, and solve issues in high-pressure clinical environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant professional or military experience.
- At least two years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab.
- Current Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification in adult or pediatric echocardiography.
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac ultrasound, echocardiography, cardiac ablation, cardiac imaging, electrophysiology technology, healthcare trends, and relevant disease states.
- Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
- Ability to travel up to 40% overnight, work variable hours, sit for extended periods, wear lead aprons, and lift up to 60 pounds.
Nice to have
- Electrophysiology, cath lab, cardiovascular device, or EP industry experience.
- CEPS, RCES, or RCIS certification.
- Experience with complex technical systems or critical patient care environments.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, autonomy, flexibility, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights.
