Program Controller II

What you will do

• Input and update project budgets and prepare weekly cash-flow projections.
• Analyze budgets versus actuals, funding requirements, estimates to complete, revenue, and cost accruals.
• Prepare, reconcile, and submit monthly invoices and supporting documentation for government customers.
• Audit, reconcile, and code direct costs for proper contract allocation and billing compliance.
• Review travel requests, travel expense reports, vendor invoices, and subcontractor hours and expenses.
• Provide financial reports, analysis, and program-control support during program reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline, or additional relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in federal government contracting.
• Experience with accounting principles, accounting software, databases, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Knowledge and proficiency in Deltek and Costpoint.
• Strong understanding of cost and schedule development, controls, analytical work, and written and verbal communication.
