Global Benefits Lead (HR Benefits)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with four days in the office and one day working remotely each week

Salary: USD 120,000–225,000 per year, plus potential bonus or incentives and benefits

What you will do

• Manage global benefit programs, with a focus on US health and welfare, retirement, and ancillary benefits.
• Review, design, recommend, and implement benefit program changes and manage annual US open enrollment.
• Oversee global vendors, brokers, and consulting partners, including selection, negotiations, implementations, and service-level monitoring.
• Partner with HR, IT, Legal, Finance, Tax, Payroll, committees, and external stakeholders on plan administration, reporting, and customer service.
• Develop employee communications, conduct benefit orientations, and respond to plan inquiries.
• Maintain plan documentation, monitor global benefits trends, and resolve operational, technology, tax, payroll, and vendor issues.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• 10+ years of HR or benefits experience, including demonstrated project management experience.
• Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, ACA, and related benefits regulations and reporting requirements.
• Strong communication, presentation, customer service, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while balancing tactical and strategic responsibilities.
